Dr. Jaffri developed his love of animals in his native Pakistan. It was there that he was raised on a small farm with cows, water buffaloes, sheep, goats, chickens, as well as cats and dogs. Due to this love, he would pursue a degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry from the University of the Panjab graduating in 1966. After working for the government of Punjab, Pakistan, he came to the United States of America in 1974 where he initially worked for the Humane Society of New York City as a Public Health Veterinarian. He would later relocate to Lebanon County, PA furthering his dedication to helping animals and his community. In 1988, East Lebanon Animal Clinic was born to provide small animal preventative healthcare, medical, as well as surgical services. He has worked tirelessly with many organizations to provide low cost spay and neutering focusing on the betterment of those in need. To this day, you will find Dr. Jaffri dedicated to advancing his mission that was born from his love of animals so many years ago.
